ENCODE Usage Frequency

How often each of the 310 ENCODE output_type seed terms is used across 1,620,076 ENCODE files. 63 terms have zero usage — candidates for review.

Note: this page reflects the original ENCODE seed universe (310 output_type terms), not ONGA's current vocabulary. ONGA has since faceted compound terms (e.g. minus strand signal → signal + strand: minus), so the live DataType vocabulary is smaller. This is intentional: usage frequency is measured against ENCODE's terms as ENCODE defines them, which is what makes the round-trip mapping meaningful.
